1-day course is designed for multiple operators or want-to-be multi-operators. The course covers basic operational issues that these operators need to know to be effective in managing multiple operations. Staff issues are also covered in some depth.
Business Tax Workshop
Our one day course is designed for both dealers and small jobbers. The course examines each business expense to determine what is deductible, non-deductible, and how the paper work needs to be handled. The course also covers forms of business ownership. It is an excellent course instructed by an LJT Management instructor with strong tax and accounting experience.
Inventory Management Workshop
LJT's one day course covers all inventory issues necessary to improve the inventory management practices of the stores. Inventory analysis, turnover analysis, and stocking practices are all covered in this course as is vendor management.
Loss Prevention Workshop
This 2-1/2 hour owner/manager workshop is designed to help identify shrink, establish cash controls and improve personnel recruitment to reduce losses. Students examine their store policies and procedures for controlling employee, vendor and customer theft.
Business Planning Workshop
This one day course is for dealers and jobbers. The course output is a completed business plan, both short and long term. The planning process is also covered in detail. This is also an ideal course for marketing personnel to attend.
Business Analysis Workshop
This one day course is designed to analyze the entire operation of the Convenience Store. It is recommended that this course be linked to one of the merchandising and management workshops. This is also a good course for credit department personnel as well as marketing and merchandising representatives

Designed to cover basic merchandising concepts including fronting, facing, maintenance of inventory and basic methods of building Convenience Store sales.
Convenience Store Advanced Merchandising Workshop
Designed for operator who has attended the Basic Merchandising Course. This course covers analysis of sales and profits created by effective merchandising. Category merchandising is also featured in this course. Building both impulse and planned purchases is also addressed in this workshop.
Merchandising for Results
In this half day session, owners and managers study the basic merchandising principles, category management, merchandising to the senses and the employee role in effective merchandising. Exercises include actual merchandising scenarios and examples.

Advanced QSR Management Workshop
This one day course is designed for dealers and jobbers who have attended the basic course. This advanced course concentrates on developing sales and profits, where the basic course concentrates on economics and operational issues.

LJT's one day course covers basic service bay operations. The course provides immediately profitable actions that the dealer must implement to build business profitability. This course is a prerequisite to many of the advanced LJT courses

A two day course designed for dealers with service bay sales over $30,000 a month with a computerized business.
Service Advisor Workshop
This course is designed for service advisors and dealers who write service. Registration, however, should be limited to dealers and service advisor of the dealers who have attended the basic Service Bay Management Workshop.
Service Bay Marketing
This one day course is designed for dealers who have attended the Service Bay Management course and are in a position to begin building sales. This course covers bringing in new customers.
Management of Technicians
This new 2-day course is designed to measure and improve technician and bay productivity. Productivity based compensation issues are discussed in great detail in this course. All forms necessary are provided to convert technicians and service advisors to a productivity based compensation program.
T.B.A. Workshop
This one day course covers building T.B.A. sales. The course concentrates on Tire Marketing. The participant will leave the course knowing how to order, price, and merchandise tires to build service bay sales. Other inventory issues are also covered in detail.
Scheduled Maintenance Workshop
This one day course is designed for dealers who have attended the Basic and should also attend the more advanced service bay courses. This course covers packaging, marketing, and selling scheduled maintenance. This course breaks Automotive Services into three areas. Converted Sales Room Management Workshop
This one day course is designed for dealers who have a sales room converted to a Food Mart or Snack Shop. It is also designed to offer the initial training to dealers considering converting or who are using their own capital for such a conversion. The course concentrates in providing all of the accounting and management tools necessary.
Gasoline Marketing Workshop
