Bill Tracy has an extensive background in retail business management and retail marketing. His experience includes managing high volume Company Operated stores for a major oil company, operating a successful service station in Oregon and international retail business development in Kazakhstan.
Bill owned and operated a Chevron Dealership taking a low volume service bay facility and increasing both fuel volume and service bay sales significantly. Bill was recognized by Chevron as one of the top 100 service station operations in the U.S.
Bill was involved with development of Chevron University, Chevron’s national new dealer training school where he provided business management instruction to all new Chevron dealers across the U.S.
Bill was country director for retailing operations responsible for building a small service station network in the former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan. The business had to be built from the ground-up. Responsibilities included site selection and facility construction, fuel procurement, recruiting & hiring the management teams, develop operating and merchandising plans, P & L analyses and developing annual business plans.
Bill managed Chevron’s Global Retailing Relationships program where he was responsible for analyzing and recommending improvements to service station operations in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
Bill holds a BS and an MBA from California Coast University and a certificate in Convenience Store Management from Cornell University.
